How it works

  1. Download the app. Get EasySportStream free from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Create a match. Pick Padel and enter the team names. The scoreboard is created for you.
  3. Go live. Choose YouTube, choose who can watch, and tap record.

Padel scoring without the mental arithmetic

Choose Padel when you create the match. The scoreboard counts points through 15, 30 and 40, adds the game to the set, plays a tiebreak at 6-6 and decides the match, so nobody has to remember whether the pair that won the last game was serving.

You tap the pair that won the rally. A mistaken tap is fixed with Undo, and a serve marker tells viewers which side serves next.

The golden point is built in

Padel starts with a golden point: when a game reaches 40-40 the next point decides it, with no advantage and no second deuce. That is the default here, along with a best of three sets and a normal tiebreak in the third.

Some competitions play advantage instead, or finish with a match tiebreak. Change those before the first point; after it the rules stay fixed so the score cannot drift.

What the audience sees

The overlay is burned into the video, so viewers on YouTube see the games of every finished set, the current set, the points of the game in progress and the serve marker. A replay carries the same picture.

The YouTube video also gets chapters: Match start, then Set 2, Set 3 and so on as each new set begins, which helps when the match is long.

Padel has no match clock

A padel match runs to the score, not to a time limit, so the app leaves the clock off. Switch it on only if you want a running time for a league that asks for one.

Filming padel behind the glass

The court is enclosed by walls and glass, which makes a high, central position behind one back wall the best choice. A phone clipped to the fence there sees both pairs without losing the ball against the glass.

Evening sessions under floodlights are common, so check the picture before the first serve. The phone setup guide covers mounting, light and power.

Frequently asked questions

Can I livestream a padel match with automatic scoring?

Yes. Choose Padel when you create the match, tap the pair that wins each point, and the scoreboard counts points, games and sets and shows them on the YouTube video.

Does the app use the golden point for padel?

Yes, it is the default for padel: the point played at 40-40 decides the game. You can switch to advantage before the first point.

How is the third set decided in padel?

By default with a normal tiebreak at 6-6. Before the first point you can choose a match tiebreak or play-on advantage instead.

What if the wrong pair gets a point?

Tap Undo. The last point is removed and the game, set and serve marker go back to how they were.

Can a friend keep the padel score while I film?

Yes, with EasySportStream PRO: remote scoring lets a second person tap the points from their own phone. Without PRO, the person filming scores in the app.
