- Create a match. Pick Squash and enter the team names. The scoreboard is created for you.
- Go live. Choose YouTube, choose who can watch, and tap record.
Point-a-rally squash, kept for you
Choose Squash when you create the match. Every rally scores a point for the winner, whoever served. A game goes to 11 with a two point lead, and the match is the first side to win three games.
You tap the player who won the rally, and Undo removes it again if you tapped the wrong one. The scoreboard shows who serves next.
Formats from league night to tournament
The default is a best of five games to 11, win by two. Before the first rally you can switch to best of three, or to a different target score for an internal ladder that plays shorter games.
Once the first rally is played the format is locked, so the score the viewers see is always the score the players agreed to.
What viewers see in a squash match
The app draws the live game, the games won so far and the serve marker onto the video. Someone joining the stream late can read the match state at a glance, and a replay carries the same picture.
The YouTube video also gets chapters: Match start, then Set 2, Set 3 and so on as each new game begins.
The match clock stays off
Squash matches run to the score. The clock starts off and can be switched on if you want elapsed time for a long five game match.
Filming squash through the glass
A glass back wall gives the best view: place the phone on a tripod behind it, high and central, so both players and the front wall are in frame. Avoid a spot where the door frame or a reflection crosses the picture.
Court bookings are short, so set up before the warm up. The phone setup guide covers mounting, light and power.

Frequently asked questions
Can I livestream squash with automatic scoring?
Yes. Choose Squash, tap the player who wins each rally, and the app counts points to 11 with a two point lead, then games and the match.
Does the app use point-a-rally scoring for squash?
Yes. Every rally scores a point for the winner, as in modern squash, and games are played to 11, win by two.
How many games make a squash match?
A best of five by default, so the first to win three games takes the match. You can change it to best of three before the first rally.
What if I give the rally to the wrong player?
Tap Undo. The last rally is taken off the board and the game, and the serve marker, are restored.
Can a club mate keep the squash score while I film?
Yes, with EasySportStream PRO: remote scoring lets a second person tap the rallies on their own device. If you do not have PRO, the person filming scores in the app.
