Points, games and the match
Choose Table tennis when you create the match. The scoreboard counts rally points in the current game, closes a game at 11 with a two point lead, and counts games until someone has won a best of five.
Rallies are quick, but a tap per point is all it takes. Undo removes the last point if you tapped the wrong player.
Match formats that fit your league
The starting setup is best of five games to 11 points, win by two. Before the first point you can switch to best of three or a single game, or change the target score for a club night with shorter games.
After the first point the format is locked, so the score on screen always agrees with what the players agreed to.
What viewers see at the table
The overlay is drawn onto the video: the points in the live game, the games already won, and a serve marker. In a replay the same numbers are there, so a long rally ending in a close game is easy to follow.
The YouTube video also gets chapters: Match start, then Set 2, Set 3 and so on as each new game begins, so you can jump to the deciding game.
No timer needed
Table tennis is played to a score, so the match clock is off by default. It is there if you want to show elapsed time.
Filming table tennis
A table is small, so a phone on a tripod at one end, a little above table height and in line with the net, shows both players and the ball. Filming from the side makes the near player hide the far one.
Sports halls are often dim, so check the picture before the first serve. The phone setup guide has tips for light and power.

Frequently asked questions
Can I livestream table tennis with an automatic game score?
Yes. Choose Table tennis, tap the player who wins each point, and the app counts points to 11 with a two point lead, then games, then the match.
How many games does the app play in a table tennis match?
A best of five by default. Before the first point you can change it to best of three or a single game.
Can I change the points needed to win a game?
Yes, before the first point. The default is 11 with a two point lead, and a shorter target suits a casual evening.
Does the app show who serves in table tennis?
Yes, a serve marker on the scoreboard shows who serves next, so viewers can follow without asking.
Can someone else keep the table tennis score while I film?
Yes, with EasySportStream PRO: remote scoring lets a second person tap the points on their own phone. Without PRO, the person filming scores in the app.
